Now Let’s start with some simple definitions:
The UV Light Air purification system is installed in the plenum as the air exists the evaporator coil. UV lights are used to kill the DNA of germs, viruses, mold spores, bacteria and fungi as they pass through the air handler system. A strategically placed UV light is very effective at killing close to one hundred percent of these harmful pollutants. This protects the equipment which interns help the quality of the air passing through the system. This product is limited to only providing protection where the light is shining. For a more complete air sanitization system we also recommend the REME HALO.
The REME HALO air sanitization system is installed in the plenum where the air is distributed to the ducts. This system produces UV light to kill microbial growth but also produces and distributes low levels of hydrogen peroxide into the air which is circulating throughout your home or business. It reduces bacteria, viruses, odors and mold spores in the air you breath and on surfaces you touch.
***The process produces a charged plasma of hydro-peroxides, super oxide ions and hydroxides to purify the air. With the RFG HVAC-REME Advanced Oxidation System, micro-organisms can be reduced up to 99.99%. Gases, VOCs and odors can also be reduced significantly, and the room will have Ionized hydro-peroxides, super oxide ion and hydroxides which will help give your room fresh, clean and odor free air.
